Ontbijt met lijsttrekkers in Daaldersplaats

Vanmorgen werd me een heerlijk ontbijt aangeboden bij Daaldersplaats. Daar raakten we o.l.v. Henk van der Veer in debat over twataligens, theater, economie, landbouw, etc.

De discussie werd geopend met een koprte introductie. Na het plotselinge en verdrietige wegvallen van Jan Bargboer als eerste man van het CDA kreeg Maarten Offringa vanmorgen meteen de kans de spits af te bijten, maar niet nadat Henk Hoekema van Gemeente belangen, de parytij die gepoasseerd voelde vanwege het uitblijven van de lijstnummers, zich het eerst mocht voorstellen. Spreekstalmeester Henk was op een gegeven moment de tel een beetje kwijt, zodat Rien van Driel en Han Westerhof daarna tussen de debatten door zich nog voorstelden.

In een uur loodste Henk ons bij van en naar de spreektafel en ieder kreeg de kans om zijn/haar zegje te doen. Spannend? Niet echt. Wel een paar opmerkelijke uitspraken. Andries Ekhart (PvdA) kon zich niet voorstellen wat de winst is van een extra partij als Verenigd Links-Feriene Lofts en Han Westerhof (D66) maakte het wel bont met de opmerking, dat de landelijke politiek nu gekleurd wordt door een bruin/liberale partij en een bruin/christelijke partij. Die uitspraak viel Symen Wybinga terecht in het verkeerde keelgat.

In beide confrontaties wordt overigens de strijd tussen nieuwkomers en gevestigde partijen zichtbaar. Met 11 partijen, waarvan 10 vertegenwoordigd (partij van de bijstand had kennelijk geen zin in een aangeboden ontbijt) zullen we de komende weken nog wel eens een snedige confrontatie meemaken.

	Niet spannend? Er waren een aantal interesante disussies waarin de verschillende partijen duidelijk aangaven waar ze tijdens de campagne op in willen zetten. Wel vond ik het jammer dat een aantal nieuwe partijen zo verbitterd reageren en voor een deel steeds achterom kijken.
